‘Kakal’, family has its roots from generations. The family which had migrated from a village named ‘Kakal’ near foot hills of Kodachadri (Shimoga Dist) was named after the village by the localities. The family was in food business ever since primarily taking up cooking contracts for marriages in the surrounding areas.

A legacy started as a Hotel Mess in the 1970s. Serving authentic meals and snacks catering to the locals at “Heggodu” village, Karnataka, India.
